Overview
Cornett, Lexington’s largest ad agency, is looking for a web design intern to join the team part-time for the fall or spring semester. The ideal candidate is a student of design and knows a thing or two about how websites and mobile apps are built. The web design intern will help researching, wireframing, planning and doing high fidelity design for projects such as websites, and mobile apps to marketing emails.
The selected candidate needs to be local to Kentucky and available to work in office several days per week or as requested.
● Design related course work
● Familiarity with design software such as Photoshop, Figma, XD and/or others
● Be good at tackling challenges
● Exhibit solid user interface (UI) concepting skills
● Worked collaboratively with others on previous projects.
● Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and work on multiple projects in a given day.
● Positive attitude and open to receiving feedback
● A passion for creativity, desire for excellence and a passion to succeed
What you will do?
● Provide design support. Some will be big months long projects, others will be small tasks you can knock out in a couple hours.
● Work with UI/Web Designer and others on the Interactive and Creative teams to concept and complete assigned projects.
● Maintain communication on status of assignments.
