If we happen to win a national award for it, well, that’s just icing on the cake. That’s why we couldn’t be prouder to announce yet another addition to our long list of accolades, the Destinations Council 2019 Destiny Award for Public Relations Campaign!
In conjunction with the ESTO travel conference, the Destiny Awards recognize U.S. Travel destination members for excellence and creative accomplishment in destination marketing and promotion at the local and regional level.
We helped our friends at VisitLEX earn first-place honors in the PR category with “Neigh-SMR”, a delightfully weird play on trendy ASMR videos featuring a horse named Hank.
As the first use of ASMR in a destination marketing strategy, Neigh-SMR helped VisitLEX earn a ton of meaningful press. It’s been featured in Adweek, Fast Company and more. So far, it’s gotten over 1.8 MILLION views on YouTube! Pretty fantastic for a campaign that cost around $4,000 to bring to life.
